Nohe'a's Dance recital

A while back Nohe'a had mentioned to me that he was in social dance in Jr High and he asked me how I liked it when I was in it, I told him I LOVED IT and that he will have a blast!! He had a winter recital back in December and I was super excited to get to see him in action!!! What a fabulous job he did and great performances he even did the SPLITS great job Nohe'a I am so very PROUD of YOU!!!

one thing is for sure we LOVE OUR HOLIDAYS in the 'Iongi Household. I was up at 3:30 am for work and hoped that I would get PTO for EMZ and that I did for 2hrs so on my way to ZUMBA I went with Morena and Ruby, caught about 35 min of ZUMBA and then rushed home to find out I had the remainder of the day off!!! I was super excited about that because then I would be able to make breakfast for my divas and father inlaw, so it was heart shaped french toast and eggs and sausage were on the menu and they LOVE IT!! thanks to Naite for helping Mommy out!!!

After we all got ready for the day the crafting began with some fun crafts from the dollar store, with a cookie decorating kit from Walmart and some home made chocolates. The girls have been really great with helping out and just LOVE having things to celebrate such a good HOLIDAY!!!It was always a goal of mine to instill in the girls my LOVE FOR HOLIDAYS so hopefully it will stick!! I wanted to especially celebrate Valentines because the girls are off track for a few weeks and so they celebrated the last day of school before they went off track.

Morena and I took Lu some lunch from Subway ( we are both on a diet lol) and he was very grateful for that!!!

Later that evening Lu returned home with flowers for all his ladies lol and we truly were excited about that too the girls were over the moon about it!! Overall it was a FABULOUS Valentines spent with my divas and my LOVED ONES!!!

New Beginnings

We have moved into a new ward and I have been called to serve in the YW!!! I love love love it!!!! I am with the Beehives and just love them!!! This past Sunday we had New Beginnings and it is crazy to think that my neice (Sinai's daughter) will be joining YW in May OMG how time has just flown by!!! It was a great turn out and great theme as well!!! I am truly grateful to work with the YW in our ward I just LOVE IT!!!

They diva trios special day finally arrived on the 4th day of February 2012. The morning started off for Lu and I at 5am sharp, we got ready and headed over to the church to decorate and set things up. It was a pretty hectic day but everything worked out!!!

We ended up having a surprise baptism at 9am before the divas baptism, no biggie right? Of course not lol. 10 till 10am people were showing up for the baptism and the other one was still going on, so then we ended up congregating to the chapel. I really didn't not realize how many people were there until I turned to Ruby and said Baby look at how many people love u guys. And as I turned to say this, I was overwhelmed with the LOVE and SUPPORT that I ended up in TEARS, tears of joy of course, but just to see all the family and friends and SUPPORT in the room was amazing, I hope the girls never forget their special day, it honestly looked like a stake baptism but it wasn't it was our ward baptism.

Turning 8 is great!!!

I am seriously typing this in SHOCK because time surely flew by way too fast for the DIVAS to be turning 8 years old. We have been talking about this for the past 3 years because of all the cousins that they have had turn 8 and all the excitement and FUN that comes with turning 8!!!

The Divas have been asked several times on several different occasions who will be baptising them and for many of the several occasions they have resorted to MY DAD. This year they wanted three different people to do so, and well if nothing could break their Daddy's heart it would have been hearing they wanted other worthy priesthood holders to baptize them =( It must have been a phase and a short one for sure because now we are back to plan A and Daddy is baptising all three of them, when they were blessed as babies Daddy blessed Morena, Grandpa Vili blessed Ruby and Grandpa Sione blessed Melenaite ( named after each of their wives) So this is very SPECIAL because DADDY will be baptizing all three of you!!!!

We are so very proud of all three of you and hope and pray that the entire experience does not go by without you three realizing how blessed and love you all are!! Mommy and Daddy love you three so very MUCH!!!

The divas to say rhe least are very loved by many, one in particular is their Grandma Syndie (my best friend Mandies Mom) Since the divas were born she has been there!!! For their 8th birthday she wanted to take them dress shopping, she knows how much I hate when she spends so she basically told me either you come with us and say nothing about the price or not come along at all lol, so obviously I chose to zip the lips and let her do her thing with the divas. The girls had such a great time and Gramma Syndie and I got a kick out of their fashion show.

After the dress shopping we went to Sizzlers for Lunch and met up with Lu, great food and great company. After lunch we went to Walmart to purchase some shoes to go with their outfits!! I know the girls will never forget that day and all the Fun they had!!!

What a FUN DAY we had!!!

Quick Trip to LAX

So I have only heard of this area in LAX called the fashion district and boy was I amazed!! For just one day Lu, My Mom and I went to LA to purchase material for the divas baptism, anyone that knows my Mom knows that she is great at sewing clothing and quilts etc. So this place is like Heaven to her.

The last time we went to LA I had a Zumba certification and so I did not get to see all the craziness that happens there!!! Again we were only in LA for the day so we went with a plan for material and some Korean blankets, Shopping with my hubby and my Mom is great because they are great at bargaining for the merchandise unlike myself who is such a big push over!! No really everywhere I went I didn't ask for a discount or a lower price, so I am pretty sure I was getting jipped lol well I know for a FACT that I was lol. It all was a blur because we went in with the things we were looking for and back out!!

On the way home we got first class and that was a real treat from all the running around I was grateful for it!! we did it was most definitely nice to relax!!!Crazy day and it really didn't feel like we even went it was such a QUICK TRIP!!! but it was all worth it!!! Thank goodness for flight benes!!!

In November we decided that we were going to sell our home and rent a home and try and save money to travel more and to get a handle on our debt. I never was afraid for the change more so SAD that we had made so many memories in this home for our family. I love that I have a husband that is willing for change and willing for the change. I think my Mom took it the hardest when it came to telling her were going to move. She eventually came around and really agreed with our decision.

I am forever grateful for the family support that we have to help us thru the moving and getting settled and just being there for us!! It was really hard to move but grateful we found a home to rent that suits our budget and helps us to get a handle on our debt. I know we failed this time around with our home but you know what we shall try a few years down the line to purchase a home again, this time we have more of an idea of the type of home we would love to have and things we didn't have at our first home that we can have in the future!!! But until then we will keep trucking along!!!

I so happened to be off on the Divas birthday so I was able to get them ready and sent off to school, They had pancakes and eggs for breakfast and Morena and Ruby wanted to wear a dress on their special day so they did!!! Melenaite shockingly was ok with wearing leggings!!!

This year I just dropped off their treats along with some special lunch from McDonald's, the funny thing was is that Lu had it set in his mind that their lunch was at 11:30 and well we got there an hour earlier then the expected time for lunch so we ended up just dropping off their lunch to them, they were excited to see us and we were sad we were unable to have lunch with them.

After school we were greeted by Auntie Morena and Uncle Sitani and they had brought u gifts!! what spoiled lil divas u are!!! We had dinner and cupcakes and ice cream with them and then you all were so tired from partying that u went straight to bed after a quick shower!!!

Girls you are so grown up it makes us so sad!!! We as parents are coming to a realization that we are feeling a lil old and Daddy is finally realizing that you are growing and Daddy Daughter time is slowly going away!! Thank you three for always bringing JOY to our lives and for being such great daughters!!! there is never a dull moment in the 'Iongi household thanks to the three of you, we are blessed and grateful you all want to be baptized and become a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints. Thank you for being such a great example to US!!

We have recently moved and I am truly grateful for FAMILY and all the HELP!!! Truly blessed we have officially been moved in for a month now and things aren't as crazy but I am forever grateful for all the time that my mom spends with my family. I had to take pictures of the kids in action while at our home and grandma Lupi playing connect four with Morena, its was funny to say the least, my mom is one of those grandmas that is involved in anything and everything her grand kids do, she really eat sleeps and breaths her grand kids..... She was up doing dance central with the kids and singing karaoke too I love how involved she is and consider myself very lucky to have her in my kids lives. I always get comments from random friends about how lucky I am to have so much family support and love and I truly agree!!!

Thank you Grandma Lupi for always being there for our little family, for helping us move in and get settled and for being such an outstanding GRANDMA, Mom and Friend Love you MOM!!!

Christmas time

Christmas this year for our little family was very simple. The girls wrote letters to santa and asked for everything lol expensive of course but received some simple fun gifts from Santa. This year I worked Christmas morning and worked a few hours and was given the rest of the day off. I woke up early for work and woke "Santa" up to make sure he took down the presents for the divas funny thing was he ran back up the stairs and was like all CLEAR then I hear "Mommy did santa come?" yes we barely dogged the bullet this time and this was the first time the divas actually work up EARLY like 3 am EARLY lol I love that they are getting older and that they enjoys leaving cookies and milk for Santa and that they actually WOKE UP EARLY!!!

We had Christmas dinner with my parents at my parents home and it was a seafood menu with pizza for the kids. Overall its always great to spend time with family and see how much the kids are growing.

We have had some great time spent with family, Lu's brother Neti came down with his family and spent Christmas and New Years in Utah and it was a blast to have them over and to bake for them and cook!! I just love it!!!

30 Baby!!!

Dun Dun Dunn!!! The BIG 30 came TOO FAST for me to comprehend lol as a matter of fact I am still trying to comprehend the whole thing lol. This year I celebrated my birthday with my family my divas and Lu!!! The best way really!!! We went bowling at Fat Cats and had dinner there, nothing beats their yummy pizza and bread sticks. I am obviously not a very good bowler and totally shows in the scores but it's so fun to watch Lu be so competitive with his divas as if they are grown adults lol.

My birthday this year fell on a Sunday so I was able to get someone to work for me so I could go to church with the divas. Lu had to work that morning so I really wasn't expecting much, I could hear Lu waking up the girls and telling them to wake up so we can have family prayer so he could go to work, when he came back into our room he had my cake with candles lit and was singing happy birthday, yes I was in tears by then, he always seems to surprise me and sometimes its so random I don't know how to react lol So he and the girls sang and said prayer and he had to leave for work, but before that he had a gift for me and asked for me to open it before he left, I opened it and it was a Zumba jacket and bag totally things I would have gotten. I was seriously so surprised and grateful he still has that way of surprising me!!

Overall had an awesome birthday spent with my family I couldn't ask for anything more!!! Love you babe, thank u girls for the beautiful home made cards and hugs and kisses, thanks to my sis Morena and Taani for helping Lu with the cake etc.

That's right starting the beginning of December 2011 I became a Work at Home Momma!! and I LOVE IT!! I love that I can just wake up and brush my teeth and wash my face and Welcome people to Delta Airlines all from the comfort of my home. I love that I can go down stairs and have my breaks and lunches with my hubby and divas. I love that when I get off early all I have to do is walk a few steps to my bedroom and I'm HOME!!! I love that I can still catch EMZ and come to work after a great start to my morning with everyone at EMZ. No rushing here, I love that I have the option to comb my hair and wear pjs all morning long and get ready for the day during lunch lol all these things make me love what I do even MORE!!!

Now if none of this makes u jealous then I don't know what else to tell ya!! I LOVE WORKING FROM HOME!!!

Lu and I returned home from Australia on Thanksgiving day. We were welcomed with all the delicious food you could think of lol What a welcome home. We were totally jet lagged and stayed for dinner and off we went home to catch up with our sleep.

On our way home Lu and I were able to experience the luxury of Business Class!!! AMAZING is a total under statement of our experience!!! I would have to say that is the way to fly over the water I don't care what anyone says I'm SOLD on it!!! You are greeted with a kit with socks and chap stick and tooth brush and tooth paste, shoe shine, and some other things and some nice head sets , not to mention your very own tv and blanket and pillow!!! Truly will be doing more Business First flights just to enjoy all the yummy food and comfort is another plus!!! Love my JOB!!!

I have so MANY pictures from this trip to the LAND DOWN UNDER, but I decided that I have not much time nor the energy lol I know so dramatic!! Lu and I went and spent a few days with Lu's sister and family!! What a wonderful experience!!! I told Lu with me turning the BIG 30 I wanted to go somewhere I have never been before, for the longest time we decided it would be Paris, France and then I thought about it and figured why not go somewhere first that we know someone, so AUSSIE was on the mind lol when I mentioned it to Lu he was THRILLED!!! really that is an understatement. So we got in contact with our nieces and nephews and told them to " don't tell your Mom lol" so that worked for a while, then a day before we came we received a phone call from Australia and it was Lu's sister Lisa lol I guess they interrogated my poor niece and she had to tell her lol poor thing!!!

Lu and I made our way from SLC to LAX on the evening of the 18th of November. We arrived into LAX that evening and slept over night. We then left from LAX to SYD that evening of the 19th and arrived in to Aussie on their Sunday the 20th. We go to SYD just in time for church so we got ready and off we went to Church with them. The service was great they had two missionaries speak and one of the missionaries was for Utah, The talks that were given that day were very inspiring. After the sacrament meeting we headed on over to what they call a "club" to eat dinner, it is basically a buffet and mini casino and place where they watch UFC fights etc. anyways the buffet there was AMAZING nothing compares to it here in America let alone Utah. We then went back to the house to see more family members and really just hang out!!!

The time difference was killer for Lu and I because the first morning there Lu and I both woke up at 3 in the AM!! the house was thinking what in the world, We ended up just staying awake and wanted to EAT lol so Lu woke up his neice Ela and asked to take us to "Mackeys" (Mc Donalds) she obviously didn't hear us because she started making us breakfast lol. When she was all done we both started laughing and told her we just wanted breakfast from "Mackeys" and she was like Huh? she had no idea that's what we wanted to do. We then got ready for our day of adventure to SYD to see the Opera House and Bridge...........We rode a train all the way to SYD did a lot of sight seeing and from SYD we rode a ferry to Manly a city that my inlaws once lived a few years ago. We also were able to go to the beach in Manly and have lunch there while we literally got attacked by the darn birds lol. We did lots of shopping in Manly.

So much to blog about from the trip............... I just well...........just trying to catch up lol

Temple lights Take 2

We went with my side of the family to see the temple lights, and decided to take the tracks for the very first time as a family, lots of FUN and talk about a very busy Friday night!! It was really fun, we had cocoa and scones at our favorite place Winder Farms and looked like everyone had that same idea lol. Another fabulous night out with family!!! Gotta love it!!!

It's been tradition for the past couple of years to go see the Temple lights with Ai and Liki's family, as well as Ona and Aj. this year was awesome, the lights are always beautiful as usual, the weather was very COLD but we survived lol nothing we couldn't handle. The hightlight of the night was the kids being able to see the temple model that they have in the visitors center the exact replica of the Salt Lake temple. After our tour of the Salt lake temple we headed over to good old Mcdees for dinner.

Another beautiful Baby girl was brought into the world into the Iongi family, Georgia named after her fathers Mission. She was blessed on my birthday the 4th of December to Aiona and Liki Iongi!! They now have two boys and two girls in that exact order. She is gorgeous like her mommy and big sister. Love baby blessings, love babies period.

Lu and I had the chance to have some of the YSA guys from Portland Oregon stay over at our home conference weekend. Lu and I lived their for a year and a half and met these kids at the time a few years ago lol now they are all grown up and came to Salt Lake to experience first hand General Conference (LDS) something that I grew up attending at the Temple Square grounds for many many years.....Typing all of this really makes me sound SUPER OLD but really I am not that OLD lol....... It was crazy to have 11 YSA guys over plus some of my nephews with us the entire weekend all I kept saying was this is what it would be like to have boys lol and Lu would just laugh and say yea pretty much lol..........It was a great experience because it was my Nephews first time experiencing it with my daughters and it was AWESOME!!! The reaction from my nephews and the YSA guys was great they loved it and will definitely be doing it again!!!

It was and eye opener for me when I first moved out to Portland being that really the church head quarters is here in Utah so there were many things that I took for granted when I lived in Utah that I didn't realize until I moved away from it all, this was another reminder of the great things we are blessed with living here in Utah with surrounding us!! Truly Grateful for it ALL!!!

Lu served his mission in Tallahassee Florida and met with this awesome family while he was there, we were invited to one of the boys' wedding, they were sealed in the Provo temple and had a beautiful reception at their chapel beautiful decor beautiful couple. Lu refers to their mother as Mom out on his mission they took great care of him and it was nice to finally meet the family face to face, vs Fb!!!

One day Lu will take us back to his mission and hope it will be one day soon!!

Goin on a Witch Hunt

This year it was just myself and the divas, after we went to the witch hunt we had lunch at my favorite sandwich place Village Baker in Sandy love that place. We had a great time just the 4 of us!!!!

The divas had a field trip to the Hogle Zoo and we could not pass that up, the girls had told us that they let their Grandma know about it and maybe she could go with them, we told them we would both beable to go along and they were very excited about that, I think more so because they knew we would totally be sucked in to buy their YUMMY ice cream!!! but we will just pretend it was because they wanted to spend time with their awesome parents bwaahaaaa!!! Had a fabulous time and had two other kids with us by the names of Neveyah and Evelyn we had a BLAST!!!

This year has been filled with lots of EMZ events one being the relay for life, My girls know of their uncle Daniel, sometimes they get him confused with baby Daniel but the older they get the more familiar they get with Uncle Daniel, and what he means to me and our Family. It is always a tear jerker going to these types of events when we remember those who have passed on from such a deadly disease. Had afabulous time with the EMZ crew!!!

Yes that's RIGHT! Zumba licensed!!! Certified with the very BEST Miss GINA GRANT!!! one of Beto (zumba creators) right hand gals!!! I went to LA to partake in an all day certification and WOW was it one ZUMBA filled day!!! and I LOVED every bit of it!! Met a ton of new friends and motivation, just the great vibes was felt throughout the room lots of sweating and good ZUMBA music!!!

I have such a long way to go, one of the main reasons I certified was to team teach with my sis Sinai, hopefully when things die down this year, I can get settled I can start learning routines and all that, so far I have just been on the stage at EMZ huffing and puffing lol and being my normal self obnoxious lol Never in a million years did I ever see myself as a fitness instructor because hello I have a ways to go with my weight which at this point is been put on the back burner not a good excuse but it really has been.

I still LOVE ZUMBA!!! and will continue to do MY BEST to become a better instructor!!! Here's to ZUMBA FITNESS!!! Wish me LUCK because I am so gonna need lots of it

Trip to LAX

We took the Divas, Gramma Lupi and Ailini with us on a quick trip to LAX for FUN!!! This was the first time flying with all of us on our flying benes lol and WOW is all I can say about the whole experience lol more so pins and needles on confirming all 7 of us lol!!! We went to and from together and the majority of our seats were together!!hooray for that!!! The interesting part was that Lini has higher seniority and seeing her with no worries on the top of the list thanks to her Dad lol made me worry even more lol overall a very fun experience, my Madre and Lu and kids were able to browse the down town fairs for material and clothes, Lu had mentioned he saw a Bob Marley blanket (sipi kolea) korean blankets for super cheap and then I asked where it was he was like oh at the store lol Seriously babe you know that is my fave and no buy boooo!!!

It was also nice for my mom to meet up with her sister Auntie Ana and Uncle Bob and cousin Melinda. Will definitely be going back more so, so I can get my mom some more material and to hunt down my Bob blanket that someone didn't buy BOOOOOO!!! We stayed at a very nice suite in a near by city close to LAX and it was very family friendly with complimentary breakfast and lunch and dinner SCORE!!! thank you Pou for the hook up!!! great experience overall!!!

My sis Ofo had a bridal shower and the theme of the shower was the Ugliest bridesmaid dresses, you would think it would be easy to go to the DI and find an ugly dress, In my case big chick no el sizo lol so it was difficult for me lol but I did end up finding some, I laughed at my "help" (which was Lu and the girls) Lu being that he thinks he's some kind of fashion designer and the divas with their blunt remarks I was in for a reality check bwaahaaa!!! all in all it was a memorable night that was filled with TMI and interesting things about my sisters and I lol!!!

I love our GNO with all my Fili sisters because well there is a ton of us and lots of loud laughter and jokes all around!!! I love that we can all be our wild and crazy selves and just have time away with one another to catch up on our individual families. Overall fabulous evening with my crazy sisters!! would not trade em for nothing!!!

Crystal won the ugliest dress lol I think we picked the rightful winner, Crys is the one with the awesome gramma looking dress with the awesome hat and shoes lol but I think the bride to be was in 2nd with her Michelle Obama out fit and gloves.

I don't know what Sinai was thinking, she probly just wanted to be the cutest dressed because hello her dress wasn't ugly at all that LOSER lol

this year was our 10 years of my Mothers side of the family reunion that has been hosted by the Kids of my Moms siblings. This year it was hosted by My Mother and her older sister Silia's family, the two families who started the reunions back 10 yrs ago by my Sisters Sipola & Sinai.

It was only right to have the two who started it all take care of the Reunion. So the theme we came up with was " A Decade of Memories Today, Tomorrow, Always Filimoeatu Reunion 2011"

We started our reunion on Thursday night and gathered at my sister Sinai's back yard had dinner and Talents, we also introduced all the outlaws wit a dance of all the oulaw brother inlaws and then the outlaw sister inlaws too funny to see them up there performing.

Friday Morning we all met up for a light breakfast at Auntie Sissys and headed over to the bishop storehouse for some service, what a great experience for our family to go and serve......when then went over to the LDS Humanitrian center for a tour and that was a great tour, very educational and amazing to see all that the church does for the community and the world!!! We then headed over to the park for lunch.

We headed home to polish our dancing shoes for the dance. It's always a party to have each family share their talents and have fun with one another. The crazy thing was seeing our children do the very things we did when we were their age. great Friday night dance.

Saturday was game day at the park with breakfast and brunch served. all throughout the day Sipola was giving out random prizes and when I mean random I mean like a Western Union pen for the best dance off for the outlaws.............Funny thing was her prize bag randomly went missing lol hmmmm wonder who would of jacked such awesome prizes lol. I love family reunions because I love watching all our kids play together and get to know one another its just awesome!!!

Lu and I were able to travel to Portland for Lisa sii and Toni sii's Graduation, which was around the same time as the promotion of Keola our boi and Sione!! It worked out PERFECT!!! this was the first time we used my benes from Delta and totally loved it minus the over whelming stress felt worrying about making both flights lol We obviously made to Portland and back with flying colors and next to one another on both flights!!!

We had a great time the two of us with the family in Portland!! got some Zumba in also!!! We had a nice grad party at Neti and Lani's house the day after the graduation. Going to their graduation made me realize how Old Lu is getting lol yea not ME no way lol!! why do they grow up so fast!!! I am forever grateful for the awesome example that they are to my girls, both are now attending Portland's community college and Toni will be leaving on a mission soon!!!

She is Catholic and it was at the Cathedral down town Salt Lake. Because of or crazy work schedules, Gramma Lupi hs taken the girls a ton over their summer break, one thing the girls look forward to is camping with Gramma, I mean this lady when she goes camping she takes literally everything in her kitchen and more lol nbfr!!!so this year was not at all any different other then it was a bit colder then the usual swim everyday, eat ice cream, but that didn't stop the divas NO WAY!!! overall they had a blast with Gramma Lupi at their ward camp!!!

I don't know about u but when they have Polys on the BL I am tuned in lol!! We were blessed to have Moses and Kaylee in town and come for a visit to our EMZ in west valley!!! My girls were super duper excited to meet them, take pictures with them and just be around them!!! I get so emotional watching the BL on TV because I know exactly how they feel, it's no fun being over weight and having blunt family members to remind u of how skinny u once were and how FAT u are now. It was great to have their energy there to keep pushing us along!!! I love when u have people with that positive attitude who keep you pumped!!! and motivated!!!it was a great day!!!

OMG I am so far behind on my blogging, but determined to get it all down. A year ago My sister started teaching Zumba classes for free at the Harold B. Lee building which then changed over to a church house off of California and now moved to their stk center. I am forever PROUD lil sis to my sister Sinai and try to always be there when she has things going on, I mean u say ZUMBA and Free and I am so there lol!!! The only catch is it's at 5:30in the AMS lol

So our EMZ (Early Morning Zumba)crew received a award and some $$$$ for the strides of healthy living!! thanks to Teuila!!! They had an award lunch and Sinai let me be her guest lol It was a great day of lunch with some fun ladies!!! everyone wanted to be on our table, we are just cool like that or just obnoxious and loud lol. It was great to receive an award for the polynesian community I was a proud POLY for SURE!!! I love to look out to the EMZ crew and see all the women from all ages!! What I love is the dedication that is brought every morning, It was a luncheon well worth sitting in on and TRULY PROUD SISTAH!!!

Portland Family Visit

When Lu and I married in 2002 we move immediately after marrying in Salt Lake. We started a new life as a married couple in Portland Oregon, Tigard Oregon was our home for about a year and a half. When we moved out to Oregon, this couple helped us settle in, helped get us an apartment and seriously became my family.

Ana and Sio came to visit at the end of the school year for a graduation on Ana's side of the family. It was kind of short notice and our hubby's were the two who planned everything lol. It was so nice for her girls to finally after 7yrs meet the two people who seriously helped us out a TON while we were in Oregon!!! Ana is literally a Sister to me and always was there for me to show me around Tigard, help un pack and set things up with her hubby Sio!!! Sio is Lu's second cousin but really another brother to Lu. How grateful I am to have such amazing people in our life for this I am forever indebted to them for their generosity and love!!!

Recently I took the divas for their very first pedi at the walmart salon!!! They soaked it all in and LOVED every moment of it!!! It's something I have always wanted to do with my girls just Mommy and her girls!! I am so glad that I did it and I believe it was worth every pretty penny spent!!! I love how grateful they were and well now I think I set my self up for total DIVA STATUS now lol theres no turning back on pedis they were trying to get a mani as well and I was like lets try the pedi FIRST lol silly girls!!! It amazes me at how fast they have grown and how much they have matured. Next year we will be doing 3 lil baptisms OMG!!! CRAZEE!!!

the divas and I have been planning to have a tea party for the longest time!!! So FINALLY Monday Night I made it happen lol!! It was a surprise so they had no idea, lu bbq and they wondered if we were going to have dessert, I quietly snuck out from the back porch and got things ready inside for them!!! a while back I started collecting tea cups and lil saucers from the DI, then I noticed I had some of my candle stick holders from the DI that I was going thru this phase of making cake pedestals with and used them for some candles. I found at Ross a while back some PINK hot chocolate that I just could not pass up for a tea party event lol so it FINALLY CAME tea party NITE!!! They absolutley loved it every minute of it!!! I loved serving them their tea and strawberry short cake and PB & J!!! Lu and his bro Veni ended up killing all their left overs of cake and hot choc silly guys. All I can say is this will not be the last tea party, I think next time Daddy will serve us!!!

So it was official as of July 11th I was a legit Delta Reservationist lol!! It's crazy how time flies when your having FUN!!! The FUN part was letting my family come in and see where I work and my desk and all that fun stuff!!! the friendships I have made thru the program is outstanding and the support of mi FAMILIA is AMAZING!!! School is officially out for the Divas, they have made it thru another year and now older and wiser!! My how the time has flown by so very quickly. I was able to go to the girls last official 1st grade field trip to Hollywood Connection where I had a group of 6 kids, It was super FUN!!! I know the girls have had one crazy year going from one school to another and then back again to their old school, but overall they adjusted VERY WELL!!! I am so VERY PROUD of YOU GIRLS!! Lauren has returned to our Father in Heaven and is surely happier not having anymore pain. 9yr Anniversary

May 18th, 2002 Lupeni and I were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple for time and all eternity!! Crazy to think that it has been 9years since that very day!!! In many ways we have grown as a couple, Many short comings, many trials, but thru it all one thing has been certain, the Lord is very mindful of his children and the Family unit. I know we have many things that we fall short of but I know that the trials placed before us have made us stronger as a couple.

I am grateful for the sacrifices that our Savior has made for me and you, so that we are able to repent and be forgiven. I am truly blessed and grateful for Lu and all that he does for our little family. Nothing beats a great dinner date with My LOVE.

Lu and I have had some crazy schedules for the past few months, due to my new job and Lu's rotating shift. So the girls spend a lot more time with Grandma Lupi. don't get me wrong they Love Love Love staying at grandmas and sometimes forget their real home lol, then they get that crazy idea that anything goes and NO RULES, NO like set rules, so literally they could get away with murder like literally lol.

We decided to take the divas on a lil date, a lil family time. We took them to Valley Fair Mall and watched Diary of the Wimpy Kid II. Had some lunch at the mall and played games at the arcade finished off the evening with some quality time at home and pizza. I truly love my girls and am grateful for time that can be spent with them.

I am very happy to report my divas are loving coming home, I think they have missed their toys and their space at home!! I LOVE HAVING THEM HOME and try to spend as MUCH TIME as I CAN with them because they won't be small forever and they won't want to stay home or spend time with Lu and I (as sad as it sounds but I know it's the truth) So I plan to take advantage of it!!

My beautiful sister Morena had her special day on the 13th day of May. We were super excited for my sis and her decision to marry Sitani. We have gotten to know him in a very short time, in many ways it was just like when Lu and I were dating and engaged and then married lol.

We are truly grateful for the new addition to our growing family!! The kids adore their new uncle, but may be a lil sad now that their aunties attention isn't fully on them anymore lol!! and all on the "new Unko" . My adorable little nephew was baptized and confirmed a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter day saints. I love that my girls have So many cousins that are setting such great examples for the Divas to follow!!! Griffin had a wonderful program, Pitasoni gave a talk on being baptized and there was not a dry eye in the room, I spoke on receiving the Holy Ghost and actually kept it all together lol!! The Lokotui kids sang a song written by Ana Tafisi that was just so amazing!!! Uncle Brian did a great job with baptizing and confirming him a member.

Our EMZ (Early Morning Zumba) group was given a grant, thanks to Teuila and her wonderful essay. one of my very last Saturdays off before I started my new shift in the evenings we went over to Gramma Syndies for some YUMMY LUNCH!!! It was still pretty cold, so she made home made chicken noodle soup with some home made yummy rolls!!! We went over right after the girls' tahitian practice and boy did it warm us up!! For dessert we made some amazing Monkey Bread!! which pretty much was two cans of buttered biscuits cut in fours and rolled into balls then rolled in melted butter then rolled in a mixture of butterscotch pudding powder and brown sugar. then you place the biscuits in a bundt pan. the remainder of the melted butter gets poured over the entire batch of bisuits in the pan. YUMM O!!!

Our ward had a Mother's day dance and Lu was off of work and so we decided to go with the Divas to the dance. It was very Fun and low key. During the dinner they played a video that the secretary made with little messages from the Youth and Primary children for their Mothers!! It was great I even recieved a message from the divas, that was a PROUD MOMMY moment lol the following day at church they posted the pictures that were taken at the dance, it was nice to have our pictures to remember that special day!!!

So My dear Nephew William recieved his arrow of light and we were able to attend as a family. I have never attended such a wonderful program. Super cute to see all the scout boys recieve awards from their pinewood derby.So William is moving up to the older scouts and they had this bridge set up at the front of the program and I just kept thinking what in the world is this for lol I really think I did actually take pictures so I will have to look back thru my camera HELLO!!!

Great program and great MC (Ms Tohi Haluafia) it was pretty a cool thing to see on one side William began with all his scout peers and on the other side of the bridge were the older scout boys ready to greet him into the older scouting program. You just had to be there lol hope I can find the pictures!!! anhoo great FOOD as always and great COMPANY!!!

Lu was able to go on a field trip with Morena and Ruby to the Hale Centre theatre in west valley. They had a great time!!! He even had lunch with them lol Lu and I try to at least have one of us present at a field trip "try" is the keyword, Daddy was a good sport, because he just got off of work and came straight over to school to go with them on their lil Field trip.

When Lu came home that day he had two tickets for Melenaite because she was unable to go because she was sick. So hopefully Naite and I can go on a lil date just the two of Us!!!

The Sunday that we went out to Logan for the baby blessings, Lu and I chatted with Ati and decided we needed to have a little get together with Lu's cousins at our home and nothing beats BBQ food and good company so Ati was great at reminding us and txting and so we ended up having everyone over on a Sunday afternoon!!! It's always great to get to know both sides of the family my side as well as Lu's side of the FAM!!! I am forever grateful FAMILY and am all about get togethers with FOOD involved!!!

It's been quiet some time since Lu and I have went out dancing, we used to be at every dance while we were dating and then when we married even when I was preggers we still would continue to go, but recently we haven't been able to go out with one another for a WHILE!! so this was a real treat!!! I love my Moms ward, it's been my ward since I was younger and I just love the people of that ward!!!

My nephew performed for the Relief Society birthday and it was GREAT FUN!!! dancing the night away, with our divas and my family!!! after the dance Melenaite was the only one who came home with Lu and I so she was able to enjoy a late night snack at Village Inn. Just the 3 of us!!!

Because of my new job, It's been hard to try and "catch up" with my blogging!!! BUT I don't regret anytime that is spent with these PEOPLE!!! So far my experience with Delta Airlines has been FABULOUS!!! by the end of this month (APRIL) my official training is complete!!! We have a total of 4 assesments throughtout the training and my last one is coming up this upcoming Tuesday May the 3rd will decide my fate with Delta!!! the last three assesments I have scored in the 93%-97% range and hope to do so on this stand alone final assesment!!! fingers and toes crossed because I LOVE THIS JOB and LOVE the PEOPLE that I WORK WITH!!!

It's gonna be CRAZY being thrown out to fend for ourselves lol But with these guys as Pals I know I can DO IT!!!

My soon to be BIL was baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on the 16th day of May, confirmed on the following day. What a wonderful thing to be a witness of the truth. My sister Morena and my Mom both gave talks on baptism and receiving the holy ghost. I am very happy for my sister Morena and her Fiancee Sitani and their decison to be married and for Sitani's choice to become a member of the church. I wish them both well in their future love ya sis!

what up YO!!!

If u haven't noticed by now I'm a ZUMBAHOLIC!!! so Friday after work I was talking with my sis Sinai and I had asked her if we were going to do ZUMBA and she answered do u wanna go to Alice's studio AZUL? the ZUMBA Twins will be there!!! I replied with an excited HECK YEA!!! Things worked out perfect Lu went to the gym with Sitani and the Divas so I was FREE to go with SINAI OH YEA!!! So off we went!!!

It was a fabo evening with extra nice ZUMBA GOERS minus one lady who was taking everyone spots like nobodies business..............can u tell I can't stand annoying ladies like that, I may have "accidentally" hit her ok punched her but hello big chicks NEED ROOM!!! she even yelled sorry in my EAR (annoyance of my life) so next time I see her I will for sure stand on the total opposite side of the floor for sure!!! anyhoo!!! fabo NITE at STUDIO AZUL lubb it!!! It's always nice when Lu has a day off and spends it with the Divas at school. The girls had a BLAST with their Daddy!! They helped him get his hot lunch with them, Lu said it was the cutest thing to see them walk him around and have him at their lunch table. Lu said they must of been LOUD because one of the teachers came by and was like "wow are u guys having a party over here??" and the entire table just laughed and carried on with their conversations with Lu!! I know its a day the girls will not forget because they had their COOL DADDY there with them!!

I was looking on my computer and noticed I hadn't blogged about this adorable diva who got the big bucks!!! Morena has been going to the dentist like a trooper!!! Saturday morning the 9th day of April.........rewind a week prior!! My sis Lan had set up a meeting with just the siblings to think of ideas of what we could do for Grandma Ruby and her birthday, so we put our heads together and had some awesome ideas, we settled with the idea to surprise Mom with a spa pedi and dinner with ALL OF US!!! So I told my Mom that I had an appointment setup for her and I as well as my bro Ropes. I laughed because apparently the birthday girl was asking tons of questions to all my other siblings on what the apt was for etc. but she only asked me once and ended up NOT asking ever again lol

My sisters later told me of the endless questions throughout the week, to try and get some info on the where abouts of the appointment lmbo!! Anyhoo the day finally arrived, I reminded my Mom one last time at the girls' tahitian practice and she still had no idea what the evening entailed. So At about 4:15pm I was finishing up my candle party and off I went to pick up the birthday girl and bro Ropes. On our way to Fashion place mall to the Sanctuary Day Spa she did not ask once, what the apt was for she was side tracked about other stuff. So we get to the Day Spa and she is still clueless to what we had planned. So they take all three of us back to the waiting room, that was so nice and calm and quiet and she is still wondering what the heck are we doing here lol So we help ourselves to some yummy blueberry scones, Cocoa and choc macaroon cookies and Ropes gets taken back for his wax apt. My Mom and I start in conversation when she notices people walking around in robes and slippers.............She starts to worry, and tells me that she doesn't want anyone "touching her" I just kept laughing and telling her it's going to be fine............Then I mention to her that Lu and I came there for my birthday and then it clicks.............and she says to me " I know what this is for NOW!!! it's for my birthday huh?" I just laugh and say MAYBE!!! My Mom and I finally get taken back to get our spa pedicures, my bro Rope's was able to come back with us and chit chat with us. They set up our spa treatment and the Girl goind my Moms pedi says "Happy Birthday!!" and presents a piece of cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory and my Mom is just in Heaven!!!

Mom usually doesn't get pedis with painted toe nails and this time she did!!! On our car ride to our next "secret" destination, my Mom keeps asking question after question, where are we going?? Why are we going to downtown Salt Lake? She even asked if she was going to be doing anything that had to do with bare feet, because she already put her boots and socks on lmbo!! Ropes and I reassured her that she need not worry!!!When we arrived at Chuck-a-ramma she was like Oh we are going to eat? My bro and I just kept quiet..............When we got inside my Mom tells me that she needs to go to the RR lol of all the times, when the kids are waiting with a big poster and balloons lol so when she came out of the RR I was already there waiting to escort her in...........as soon as she turned the corner there, her grand kids were singing HAPPY BIRTHDAY and holding her sign. She cried and was so SURPRISED!!! Mission accomplished!!!

Mom thank you for all you do, for helping out with the kids and for your never ending LOVE and SUPPORT that you show each and everyone of US!!! It was a pretty simple Surprise, that She will NEVER FORGET!!!

Did I tell You HOW MUCH I LOVE MY new JOB

So like I blogged earlier!! I started a new JOB at DELTA AIRLINES!!! and can I just say I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!! I love my job and I love love love the people I work with!!! I wake up every morning excited and happy to come to work!! crazy I KNOW, I have never really looked forward to coming to work every day like I do when I come to DELTA!!! I enjoy the 28 new friends including trainers and mentors that make reservation sales SO FUN and far from BORING!!! This past Friday we were able to go and enjoy a MOCK airplane that is in our reservation building!!! I was able to experience the first class cabin and WOW I hope I can experience it in real life REAL SOON!!! I laughed only because I posted all our fun pictures on FB and I kept getting comments like, where are you flying to? and YOUR SO LUCKY!!!I truly do feel real lucky to have crossed paths with such great energetic, HAPPY people!!! I love it!!! I have a feeling though that working here will be a struggle because everyday we have treats and every Friday we have potlucks!!! so I am having a hard time trying to keep the weight off, but I am determined to enjoy all the yummy fun things, and still workout once and even twice a day!!! It will be nice once I start my regular shift, to go in the mornings again and workout!! I have a feeling that this won't be the last time that I blog about my awesome NEW FRIENDS here at DELTA!!! I LOVE IT!!!my second family!!!

for the month of April Lu and I were to host our annual FHE!!! We planned to do a bunch of things and ended up cutting a few things, with me starting at Delta put off a few things that I had planned, but will eventually do them such as FHE boards and family boards, etc. thats my excuse and I am sticking to it OK!!!

So anyways, we just recently had my SIL move out and so we had the basement available to those who came a lil early to watch conference, while the kids and I dyed eggs, and decorated cookies, we finished out the kids stuff with an awesome Easter egg hunt outside in the SNOW!!! We had an awesome afternoon listening to conference, simple and FUN!!!

So we love to go to Virgs and this time around was no exception to the reason why we love it so much!!! They serve a variety of Food from Breakfast, to Lunch and Dinner!!! So since Lu is eating "normal"food again, we had to go to Virgs. This time around we wanted to try different things from the usual breakfast items and burgers. We actually ended up having dessert FIRST!! don't you just love my model who is modeling my new favorite dessert!! The ice cream chimichunga!!! DELISIOSO!!! I actually like this much MORE then the fried ice cream that I got at Sushi Monster (it was ALRIGHT) (sorry Sinai u can keep ur fried ice cream lol) SO if you are ever in the mood for a sweet cool treat go to VIRGS!!!

What a great family day it was!!!

Guess who's the Biggest LOSER?

So January my hubby and I entered Sinai's 2nd annual biggest loser competition!!! 3 months later and 60 lbs for Lu and a 10lb loss for me and a healthier lifestyle!! Lu went into the whole thing with such a great attitude and I know that is exactly why he won, we even took a trip to Vegas in February and he was off his "diet" food during vacay, but when we returned he was back on track. There were a few times he would say he wanted to give up and just be done with the whole thing, But HE STUCK with it!!!! We would have crazy weeks of two a days (double workouts) and we would wake up the following morning sore and tired, BUT SO READY FOR MORE!!! What a journey it has been for our family, to live a healthier lifestyle!! I am FOREVER PROUD WIFEY!!! Lu won first place and brought home a pretty pay check of 2400 buck a roos!! OH YEA!!! new shoes for everyone lol!!! Great JOB BABE!!! YOU DID IT!!!

The funny thing is now he thinks I hired him to be my personal trainer bwaahaaaa NOT!!! we shall see until the next episode peeps!!!

St Pattys day party

So the rec center held a St Pattys day party and we signed up for it!! they had cookies and punch, a few games like sipping green jello thru a panty hose, pin shamrock on the Lepruchan, guess the coins in the bucket, they were able to color a few sheets of fun things and even the Dads colored some sheets. It was a nice simple party and the kids enjoyed it

So because Lu sold his car, he surprised us with Dinner at Leatherbys!!! Woohooo!!! I ordered a brownie Sundae, the girls and Aj pretty much all got the same thing two scoops of mint cookie and Ruby had Rocky road and cake flavored ice cream!!! We also ordered some cheese fries and a yummy burger that Lu literally inhaled bwaaahaaa!!!! Overall a great treat for selling Daddys car!!!!

We did actually feel guilty and ended the evening at our favorite place the good old rec center to burns some major calories!!!
